Heavy Fabrication

We specialize in heavy fabrication services executed strictly in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) to ensure structural integrity, weld quality, and compliance with industry standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.). All fabrication activities are performed by certified welders and supervised by qualified welding inspectors (CWI/NDT Level II or Level III), ensuring that every weld joint meets the required metallurgical and mechanical properties.

Our heavy fabrication capabilities include

  • Fabrication of large structural components, base frames, machine beds, pressure-bearing housings, heavy weldments, and customized industrial assemblies
  • Welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW/TIG, FCAW, GMAW/MIG, SAW, orbital welding, and multi-pass high-strength welds
  • Welding of various materials including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, duplex/super duplex, and special-grade metals

Every welding process follows WPS parameters such as

  • Preheat and interpass temperature control
  • Electrode/wire selection
  • Welding current, voltage, and travel speed
  • Post-weld heat treatment (PWHT)
  • NDT and destructive test requirements (UT, RT, MT, PT, bend test, hardness test, impact test, etc.)

Upon completion of fabrication, components undergo precision machining in-house to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish consistency. Our machining capabilities include:

  • CNC and VMC machining for critical tolerances
  • Horizontal/vertical boring, milling, surface grinding, and turning operations
  • Achieving tight tolerances as per customer drawings and GD&T standards
  • Final dimensional inspection using CMM and calibrated measuring instruments

The complete solution—from heavy fabrication under qualified WPS/PQR to final machining—ensures that the end product meets all mechanical, structural, and functional requirements. This integrated fabrication–machining workflow provides superior accuracy, high reliability, and readiness for end-use application in demanding industries such as power plants, oil & gas, steel plants, heavy machinery, and defence engineering.
